Hasselbeck Producing Early for Titans

Posted by Mike Keith on September 27, 2011 – 12:18 pm

Matt Hasselbeck was great in two playoff games for Seattle. Since joining the Titans, Hasselbeck has put up excellent numbers for the Titans in three regular season games. 2011 agrees with Hasselbeck. In five games during this calendar year (counting the January playoff games), Hasselbeck has hit on 65% of his passes (126-193) for 1462 yards with 12 touchdowns and just three interceptions. His passer rating in the five games is 102.3. Another key stat: Hasselbeck has only been sacked seven times in the five games played in 2011.

From Memphis but have lived outside of Seattle since 76 and have been a Seahawk fan since the start. Matt is not only a class act BUT with a good O line like you guys have he can and just might be All Pro this year. I was real sorry to see him leave the Seahawks but our O line is in transition and can’t seem to protect very well, so it is good that Matt left. He is a great leader, with excellent football vision and when the running game clicks in watch out he will kill other teams secondery. Don’t be surprised if he has 27-30 tds in the regular season with 7-10 in the playoffs. Superbowl for the Titans THIS YEAR. God bless you Matt.

As a lifelong Seahawk fan I was sorry to see Matt Hasselback go.
The year he took them to theSuperbowl they were ripped off by the officials having 5 bad calls when the Hawks made it to the red zone, touchdown called back and Rothlesbergers phantom touchdown.
That year they were the Seahawks were the best offense in the NFL.
Matt should have a ring on his finger…I hope he gets one with the Titans.
    I’ll be rooting.
