CJ’s 110-Yard Games Place Him in Elite Company

Posted by Gary Glenn on October 25, 2012 – 1:08 pm

Chris Johnson rushed for a season-high 195 yards on 18 carries (10.8 avg.) with two touchdowns last week at Buffalo, marking the 27th game of his five-year career with 110 or more rushing yards.

With at least 110 rushing yards against Indianapolis on Sunday, Johnson will tie Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown (28) for the second-most 110-plus yard rushing games in a player’s first five NFL seasons. Johnson is currently tied for third on the list with Walter Payton (27).

Players with the most rushing games of 110 or more yards in their first five seasons:

35 – Eric Dickerson (LA Rams/Indianapolis, 1983-87)
28 – Jim Brown (Cleveland, 1957-61)
27 – Chris Johnson (Tennessee, 2008 to present)
27 – Walter Payton (Chicago, 1975-79)
26 – Emmitt Smith (Dallas, 1990-94)

Johnson still looks good no matter what the guys on espn say. The way he bust that 83 yard TD clearly shows that he still the fastest RB in the league. The guy is tuff for his size,if the offensive line continues to block for this guy, we will make the playoffs.I believe if we can fix the run game this will make the team better.
Defense will step up, special teams will step up, coaches, GO TITANS

titans need to invest in DEFENSE!! we have 3 or 4 defensive guys and the rest are mediocre… mediocre gets you nowhere in the NFL
