Since the beginning of last season, the defenses of the Titans and Seahawks have been among the best in intercepting opposing quarterbacks. The two clubs are tied with the New York Giants in fourth place with 25 interceptions each.
In 2013, the Titans are tied for 10th place with six interceptions, while the Seahawks are tied for third place with seven. In 2012, the Titans’ 19 interceptions ranked seventh, while the Seahawks’ 18 interceptions tied for eighth.

Individually, no NFL player has been more prolific with interceptions the last two seasons than Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman. With 10 total interceptions, Sherman is tied for the league lead with Chicago cornerback Tim Jennings and Arizona cornerback Patrick Peterson. Tennessee’s Alterraun Verner is tied for fifth place on the list—and tied for first among AFC players (Darius Butler)—with six interceptions.
